Online Survey: People with Disabilities & VR Accessibility
Are you a person with a disability
who uses virtual reality?
In partnership with Lucasfilm ILMxLAB, the Disability Visibility Project™ is conducting an online survey for people with disabilities about VR (virtual reality). ILMxLAB is a division of Lucasfilm focusing on the creation of immersive entertainment combining the talents of Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic, and Skywalker Sound.
The survey will cover the following topics:
- User experiences of VR.
- Accessibility issues with VR.
- Ideas/thoughts about VR for people with disabilities.
- The survey also includes questions about a VR experience by Lucasfilm, “Trials on Tatooine.” You do not have to try this experience in order to participate in the survey.
The creators from ILMxLAB will present the results of the survey at the Virtual Reality Developers Conference 2017 (VRDC) and share them with the VR developer community.
Deadline to participate in this online survey:
January 31, 2017
