Media Partner #72: New Mexico Disability Story

Image with a yellow background. In the center is a red circle and extending from the top, bottom, left and right of the circle are four red rows emanating out of the circle

Big thanks to Lisa Rossingnol, Project Director, for connecting with us! We are excited to learn of the disability history of New Mexico and support their project’s efforts.

From their website:

Established in 2014, The New Mexico Disability Story is a research project to study and preserve the rich history of disability advocacy in the State of New Mexico through the collection of oral histories, expert interviews, archives, and literature review. The project will produce a highly accessible, multimodal educational package that will include a documentary book, a feature length documentary, an exhibition, and may include additional educational products as it evolves. It is our intention to travel around the state with this exhibition to ensure all New Mexicans have access to this information.
