Our First Donation!! Thank you Susan and Bruce Miller, St. Louis, MO

I first met Susan Miller at a talk for medical students on healthcare for people with disabilities at UC San Francisco moderated by her son, BJ Miller. Many moons ago, I knew BJ when he was a med student at UCSF and we both served on the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Disability Issues.

The Disability Visibility Project is humbled and thankful for their donation.

From Susan and Bruce Miller:

In honor of our son, BJ Miller, MD, for the innovative and ground breaking programs he’s developing as Executive Director of San Francisco’s Zen Hospice Project, a residential hospice; these programs are directed at improving not only patient care but career maintenance of workers in a field noted for a high burn-out, with long term goals to establish systems and infrastructure to help the bay area community live life all the way to its end, and in so doing, offer a model for other communities looking to do likewise.
