Hey friends!

These last few months have been BUSY. I’m delighted to announce that I got a book deal! I am the editor of Disability Visibility: First-Person Stories from the Twenty-first Century, published by Vintage Books coming out summer 2020 in time for the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Many thanks to my agent Julia Kardon of Hannigan Salky Getzler for guiding me throughout this process.

It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be a challenge and an adventure. I think it’s going to be pretty damn magnificent.

FYI: To address some questions: 1) there will not be a call for submissions, 2) this is a collection of already published works from 2000-19 curated by me with a few original pieces, and 3) yes, I have already made my selections.

Stay tuned for more!!
